Getting Ready to Get Ready to Get Ready

Quite often, we feel that we need everything figured out before we can even act. If we do act on our goals, we sometimes finish thinking about what went wrong, and why we didn’t try something else. People assume that if we keep learning and keep researching, we will feel competent enough to take action. The only problem is that we keep thinking about this backward.

In today’s episode, I discuss how taking action is the fastest way to grow confidence. I talk about what happens when we focus on learning everything before we act. I share advice that I received about how action helps us find our message. I also talk about how action helps creativity.

“Action creates. It’s not the other way around. We cannot think our way- we cannot get ready to get ready into our mastery.” – Erin M Baker
